Irony

Irony is a part of life even when you don’t know it will just happen. For an example an irony that happen to me not to long ago. I wanted to buy me the new Iphone 4 because I needed a phone my last one got lost so I wanted to upgrade. I had to save for almost a month to put 500 dollars down for the phone cause I don’t have any credit. So while I was saving my old job sent me a check of 140 dollars that I wasn’t expecting. That helped me out a lot to save for my phone. But when I had the money all together I just decided to get me the blackberry storm2 and have money lift over. That was never in my plan but it just happened.

The Irony in Richard Cory by Edwin Arlington Robinson is that everybody in town tought he had a great life just cause he was rich and smart. so one day Richard shot him self. The people miss judged him they said "And he was rich--yes, richer than a king--And admirably schooled in every grace". The people didnt take time to get to know him for who he is not for the smarts he has or for the money. Nobody is perfect an the irony of this poem is that Richard Cory "one calm summer night, Went home and put a bullet through his head." People would of never thought he would do that.
